Gary McGaghey

Gary McGaghey has a wealth of experience as a Finance Manager and Group Chief Financial Officer of multinational corporations. He has primarily worked as a consultant with Williams Lea Tag & Associates.

PE Company and Advent International invested in Williams Lea Tag, which Gary McGaghey joined as a partner. McGovern’s position with the company has been that of Group CFO. He has been in charge of cost restructuring, mergers (including carve-outs and divestitures), and balance sheet restructuring for the company, which has a market capitalization of €1.3 billion.

Garry McGaghey joined Williams Lea Tag in June 2019 after previously working at Robertsons (from March 1993 to March 2002), Unilever (from April 2002 to April 2017), and Nelsons (from May 2017 to June 2019). He began working for Unilever after acquiring the Robertsons divisions, and he eventually left Unilever to join Nelsons.

During his time with Robertsons, McGaghey worked with several different enterprises, notably Robertsons Foods, Robertsons Homecare, and Brixton Snacks. His positions in these firms were Current Ceo, Chief Financial Officer, Vp of Logistics, Audit Member Of the committee, and Member of the Group Executive Committee.

McGaghey first stayed with Unilever Bestfoods Objects when Unilever bought the businesses above. An object for three years before moving on to other opportunities. He then worked for Unilever South Africa, Unilever, and Pepsi Lipton International, among other companies. During this period, McGaghey mainly served as Senior Vice president of Financial, Chief Financial Officer, and Group Chief Financial Officer of the various businesses. He has also served as Director of Mergers and Acquisitions and Temporary Chief Executive Officer, among other positions. In his most recent post with Unilever, McGaghey served as the CFO of the Pepsi Lipton Global Joint Ventures.

Gary McGaghey completed his undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Natal and Africa before beginning his professional career. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a graduate degree in the subject.

Additionally, McGaghey holds the professional designations of Chartered Accountant and Chartered Management Accountant. In addition, he has a Diploma in Non-Executive Directorship.
